Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork ribs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 1/4 cup water
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, place the ribs and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Drain the ribs and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and Chinese five-spice powder.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ribs and cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
- Pour the honey mixture over the ribs and add water to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes, turning the ribs occasionally and basting with the glaze.
- Transfer the ribs to a serving platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve hot.
