Ingredients
- 2 cups fermented rice (buro)
- 4 duck embryos (balut)
- 4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Saute the garlic, onion, and tomato until fragrant.
- Add the fermented rice (buro) and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
- Add the duck embryos (balut) and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
