Ingredients

  • 2 large turnips, peeled and cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt
  • 4-6 cups water

Instructions

  1. In a large glass jar, combine the cubed turnips and sea salt.
  2. Pour enough water over the turnips to completely submerge them.
  3. Cover the jar with a clean cloth or cheesecloth and secure it with a rubber band.
  4. Place the jar in a cool, dark place for 3-5 days, stirring the mixture once a day.
  5. After 3-5 days, the turnip juice will be fermented and ready to drink.
  6. Strain the liquid into a clean bottle and refrigerate before serving.
