Fiery Chili Garlic Noodles (辣椒蒜香面)

Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) Chinese wheat noodles
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 red chilies, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp black vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Boil the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sliced red chilies, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the wok, along with soy sauce, black vinegar, sugar, and salt. Toss to combine and heat through.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
