Fiery Chili Oil Noodles (辣椒油拌面)

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340g) Chinese wheat noodles
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) Chinese black vinegar
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Sichuan peppercorn powder
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) fiery chili oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, Chinese black vinegar, sesame oil, Sichuan peppercorn powder, fiery chili oil, garlic, and green onions to make the sauce.
  3. Pour the sauce over the cooked noodles and toss until well coated.
  4. Serve the noodles in individual bowls and enjoy!
