Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, paprika, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Add the prawns to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Preheat the BBQ grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated prawns onto skewers.
- Grill the prawns for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove from the grill and serve hot.
