Filfil Mahshi (stuffed Bell Peppers With Spiced Ground Beef)

Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the ground beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the tomato sauce and water. Pour the mixture over the stuffed bell peppers.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the bell peppers are tender and the beef is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
