Ingredients

  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stuff the bell peppers with the ground beef mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the tomato sauce and water. Pour the mixture over the stuffed bell peppers.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the bell peppers are tender and the beef is cooked through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
