Ingredients

  • 2 cups finger millet (ragi)
  • 4 cups water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the finger millet (ragi) and soak it in water for 2 hours.
  2. Drain the water and grind the finger millet to a coarse paste.
  3. In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil and add the ground finger millet paste.
  4. Cook on low heat, stirring continuously, until it thickens and forms a dough-like consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  6. Wet your hands and shape the mixture into small balls.
  7. Serve the finger millet balls (ragi sangati) with your favorite curry or chutney.
