Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp chili flakes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, Sichuan peppercorns, chili flakes, garlic, ginger, and green onions to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken wings to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes on each side until they are crispy and fully cooked.
  5. Remove the wings from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and additional chili flakes if desired before serving.
