Fish Soup (ciorbă De Pește)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) white fish fillets, such as cod or haddock
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 cups fish or vegetable broth
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté the onion, carrots, and bell pepper until softened.
  2. Add the potatoes, tomatoes, and broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Add the fish fillets and vinegar to the pot. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
