五行炒藜麦 (Five Elements Stir-Fried Quinoa) is a delicious and nutritious Taoist Diet dish that combines the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water to create a balanced and harmonious meal.
Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the quinoa under cold water.
- In a pot, bring the water to a boil and add the quinoa. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Add the bell pepper and mushrooms, and cook until tender.
- Stir in the cooked quinoa, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
