Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Press the tofu slices between paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, five-spice powder, brown sugar, and minced garlic.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the tofu slices and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the tofu and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
