Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, cut into chunks
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, five-spice powder, sesame oil, and honey or agave nectar.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them sit for 10-15 minutes.
- Thread the marinated tofu, bell peppers, and onion onto skewers.
- Heat a stovetop grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is lightly charred and the vegetables are tender.
