Flan Fantasy (Fantasía de Flan)

Ingredients
- 6 large eggs
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns into a golden caramel, then pour it into a flan mold, swirling to coat the bottom.
- In a blender, combine the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the flan mold over the caramel.
- Place the flan mold in a larger baking dish and fill the larger dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the flan mold.
- Bake for 1 hour, or until the center is set. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- To serve, run a knife around the edge of the flan, place a serving dish on top, and invert to release the flan with the caramel sauce on top.
