  • 4 papads
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • Water, as needed

  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, salt, and water to make a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll each part into a small disc.
  3. Place a papad on one disc, sprinkle red chili powder, cumin seeds, and garam masala on top, and cover it with another disc. Seal the edges carefully.
  4. Roll out the stuffed dough into a paratha using some dry flour for dusting.
  5. Heat a tawa (griddle) and cook the paratha on both sides until golden brown, adding oil as needed.
  6. Repeat the process for the remaining dough and papads.
