Ingredients
- 1.5 lb chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 3-4 dry red chilies
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and dry red chilies. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook until onions are golden brown.
- Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, and cinnamon powder. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until they are browned.
- Pour in the vinegar and season with salt. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Once the chicken is tender and the sauce has thickened, remove from heat and serve hot.
