Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup finely chopped shrimp
- 1/2 cup minced water chestnuts
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 20 round dumpling wrappers
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped shrimp, water chestnuts, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and white pepper. Mix well.
- Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper. Moisten the edges with water and fold the dumplings in half, pressing the edges to seal.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Carefully add the dumplings and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
- Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot with dipping sauce.
