Formentera Fish Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets, such as cod or halibut
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Rub the spice mixture onto the fish fillets.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the fish fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a gas flame until they are soft and pliable.
- Divide the cooked fish among the tortillas. Top with shredded cabbage, sliced avocado, and chopped cilantro. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
