Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped fudge pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the sugar and cocoa powder until well combined. Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
- Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the flour and salt until just combined. Fold in the chopped fudge pieces.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs, but not wet batter.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
