Fox Island Fish Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour the mixture over the fish fillets and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, cilantro, and a pinch of salt. This will be the creamy sauce for the tacos.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the fish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and flaky.
