Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together lime juice, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour the mixture over the fish fillets and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine mayonnaise, cilantro, and a pinch of salt. This will be the creamy sauce for the tacos.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the fish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and flaky.
- Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of the cooked fish on each tortilla, then topping with shredded cabbage, diced red onion, and jalapeño slices. Drizzle with the creamy sauce.
