Ingredients
- 4 pieces of firm tofu
- 200g ground pork
- 1/2 cup chopped scallions
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Prepare the tofu by cutting a slit in the center of each piece to create a pocket for the stuffing.
- In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped scallions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, white pepper, garlic, and cornstarch.
- Stuff the tofu pockets with the pork mixture, pressing gently to fill the pockets completely.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the stuffed tofu in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Pour the chicken broth into the pan, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes until the tofu is cooked through and the filling is set.
