Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 oranges, juiced and zested
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, orange zest, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove beef from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add garlic, ginger, and green onions. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour the orange sauce mixture into the wok and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the cooked beef to the wok and toss to coat with the orange sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve the fragrant orange beef hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.
