तल्ला चाकु (Fried Chaku) is a traditional Newari sweet dish made with molasses, ghee, and rice flour. It is a popular treat during festivals and special occasions in Nepal.
Ingredients
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 cup ghee
- 2 cups rice flour
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat.
- Add molasses and stir until it melts and combines with ghee.
- Add rice flour and water, and mix well to form a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into round discs.
- Heat ghee in a deep pan and fry the discs until they turn golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and let them cool before serving.
