Fried Chatamari (तल्ला चाटामरी)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup minced meat or vegetables
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped green chilies
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the rice flour and water to make a smooth batter.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour a ladleful of the batter to make a thin crepe.
  3. Sprinkle minced meat or vegetables, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, green chilies, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt on the crepe.
  4. Drizzle some oil around the edges and cook until the bottom is golden brown.
  5. Flip the chatamari and cook the other side until it's crispy.
  6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter and toppings.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy the delicious fried chatamari!
