Fried Cheese Rolls (Sufllaqe me Djathë të Prerë)

Ingredients
- 8 slices of white bread
- 200g of feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the crusts off the bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.
- Divide the crumbled feta cheese among the bread slices and roll them up tightly.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- In another dish, mix the flour, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each cheese roll in the egg mixture, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the rolls until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove the rolls from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve the fried cheese rolls hot and enjoy!
