Fried Kachila (तल्ला कचिला)

Ingredients

  • 500g kachila (yam), peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup gram flour
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced kachila in a bowl and add gram flour, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the kachila slices evenly.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  3. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated kachila slices and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the fried kachila from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Serve hot and crispy fried kachila as a snack or appetizer.
