Fried Oyster Mushroom Delight (炒蚵菇)
This delicious Taiwanese dish features the delightful flavors of oyster mushrooms stir-fried to perfection.
Ingredients
- 500g oyster mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the oyster mushrooms and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until they are tender and golden brown.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the mushrooms and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the fried oyster mushrooms to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onions.
