Fried Rice With Shrimp And Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add shrimp and garlic, and cook until shrimp turns pink. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry until tender.
  4. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and pour the beaten eggs onto the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked.
  5. Add cooked rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet. Stir-fry everything together for a few minutes.
  6. Finally, add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet and toss everything together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and serve hot.
