Ingredients
- 2 lotus roots, peeled and sliced
- 200g ground pork
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, egg, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper.
- Take each lotus root slice and stuff it with the pork mixture, then coat with cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, then fry the stuffed lotus root until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
