Fried Woh (तल्ला वोह)

Ingredients

  • 500g woh (Newari-style beaten rice)
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the woh with turmeric powder, cumin powder, chili powder, and salt.
  3. Carefully add a handful of the seasoned woh to the hot oil and fry until crispy and golden brown.
  4. Remove the fried woh from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Repeat the frying process with the remaining seasoned woh.
  6. Once all the woh is fried, serve the crispy fried woh hot and enjoy!
