Ingredients
- 500g ground pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter, for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
- Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
- Remove the meatballs from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess grease.
- Serve the Frikadeller hot with potatoes, gravy, and lingonberry sauce.
