Ingredients

  • 500g ground pork
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk, nutmeg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  4. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess grease.
  5. Serve the Frikadeller hot with potatoes, gravy, and lingonberry sauce.
