Frozen Arctic Shrimp Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen arctic shrimp, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the same wok.
  4. Add the onion, bell pepper, and snow peas. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch.
  7. Return the shrimp to the wok and pour the sauce over the shrimp and vegetables.
  8. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the shrimp and vegetables.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve the Frozen Arctic Shrimp Stir-Fry hot with steamed rice or noodles.
