Ingredients

  • 8 pieces of dried tofu skin
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3-4 shiitake mushrooms, soaked and sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Soak the dried tofu skin in warm water until softened, then cut into 8 equal-sized pieces.
  2. Blanch the tofu skin in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then remove and drain.
  3. Place a small amount of shredded cabbage, carrot, and shiitake mushrooms on each piece of tofu skin, then roll them up tightly.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan, add minced garlic, and stir-fry until fragrant.
  5. Add the tofu skin rolls to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and white pepper in a small bowl, then pour the sauce over the tofu skin rolls. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Transfer the Fujian-style Fried Tofu Skin Rolls to a serving plate and serve hot.
