Gai Pad Krapow (thai Basil Chicken)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 Thai bird's eye chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and chopped chilies, and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until cooked through.
  4. Stir in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar.
  5. Add the fresh basil leaves and stir-fry until wilted.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot with steamed rice.
