Galbi Gui Grilled Beef Ribs (갈비구이)

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs beef short ribs, cut across the bone
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice wine, garlic, onion, black pepper, sesame oil, and green onions to make the marinade.
  2. Place the beef ribs in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the ribs. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Transfer the grilled beef ribs to a serving platter and garnish with additional chopped green onions, if desired.
