Galbi Short Ribs (갈비)

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef short ribs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice wine
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, rice wine, black pepper, grated onion, and chopped green onions to make the marinade.
  2. Place the short ribs in a large resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the ribs. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
