Ingredients

  • 500g fish fillets, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Coat the fish pieces with cornstarch.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the fish until crispy. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté the onion, bell pepper, and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Stir in ketchup, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and water. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add the fried fish to the sauce and toss to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
