Ingredients

  • 2 cups gari
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup cooked protein (chicken, fish, or tofu)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook until softened.
  4. Add the cooked protein and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Gradually add the gari while stirring continuously to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Cover the pan and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Once the gari is heated through, remove from heat and serve hot.
