Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry)
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Add the soy sauce, sugar, salt, white pepper, and Shaoxing wine. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add the chopped green onions and stir-fry for an additional 30 seconds.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
