Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, mix together the chocolate cookie crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese with 1 cup sugar and vanilla until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend in the melted chocolate. Pour filling into crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 55 minutes, or until filling is set. Let cool, then refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
- In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream and confectioners' sugar. Spread over top of cheesecake right before serving.
