Ingredients

  • 1 kg large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers.
  4. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the grill and serve hot with fresh lemon wedges.
