Ingredients
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, granulated sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Add the honey, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Shape the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the palm of your hand.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let the ghoriba cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- If desired, dust the cooled ghoriba with powdered sugar before serving.
