Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • 24 whole blanched almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, powdered sugar, ground cardamom, and salt.
  3. Add the vegetable oil and rose water to the dry ingredients, and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Gently press a whole blanched almond into the center of each cookie.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
