Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs (700g) chicken breast, cut into strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
- 1/4 cup (60ml) coconut milk

- 2 tbsp (30ml) lime juice

- 1/4 cup (60ml) water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cayenne pepper, soy sauce, and coconut milk. Add the chicken strips and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Thread the marinated chicken strips onto the soaked skewers.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
- While the chicken is cooking, prepare the peanut sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the peanut butter, lime juice, honey, and water. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and heated through.
- Season the peanut sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the spiced chicken satay with the warm peanut sauce for dipping.
