Ingredients

  • 5 sheets of seaweed (gim)
  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 3 eggs, beaten and cooked into thin omelets
  • 6 crab sticks
  • 6 strips of ham
  • Sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Place a sheet of seaweed on a bamboo sushi mat.
  2. Spread a thin layer of rice over the seaweed, leaving a small border at the top.
  3. Arrange the carrot, cucumber, egg, crab stick, and ham in a line across the center of the rice.
  4. Roll the gimbap tightly using the sushi mat, sealing the edge with a little water.
  5. Brush the gimbap with sesame oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Cut the roll into bite-sized pieces and serve.
