Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-inch piece ginger, julienned
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Steamed rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, and cornstarch. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  4. Return the beef to the wok, add the green onions, and stir-fry for another minute.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss to combine. Serve the ginger beef over steamed rice.
