Ginger Garlic Hainan Beef Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cups cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add ginger and garlic, and stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Serve the ginger garlic beef stir-fry over cooked rice.
