Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) potato gnocchi
- 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
- 4 oz (115g) Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp (30g) butter
- 2 tbsp (15g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup (25g) breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp (30g) chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the heavy cream until smooth and thickened.
- Add the Gorgonzola, Parmesan, garlic, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is well combined.
- Remove the sauce from the heat and gently fold in the cooked gnocchi.
- Transfer the gnocchi and sauce to a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
