Gizdodo Pizza Surprise

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
  • 2 ripe plantains, cut into small cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pre-made pizza dough

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the diced plantains and fry until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Using the same skillet, sauté the diced onions and bell peppers until they are soft.
  4. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet, then pour in the tomato sauce and season with paprika, thyme, curry powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet and spread the chicken and vegetable mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
