Gluten-free Beef And Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil in the same skillet. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the beef to the skillet with the broccoli. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the gluten-free beef and broccoli over steamed rice or quinoa.
